Thavani, half-saree.

In the pond with clear water
Ripples were playing
With the buds yesterday.
Lo, petals opened!
With exquisite beauty,
Bloomed lotus today.
Will they be offered,
To him with love tomorrow?
She will remain in my heart
And I will safely retain her for ever.
With fluttering half sari, thavani
Her mind full of thoughts of her marriage
Fixed in the month of Avani,
Yesterday she was happily playing.
The colorful full sari adorning her
Today she was looking like
Bright divine lamp in Onam rangoli .
Tomorrow she will be explaining
 The reason for her
Extended shy and smile
And for ever she remaining mine!

River side bath in flowing water
While helping her blouse hook
Seen the significant hidden mole
At the prominent place
Haunting my entire soul.
Rest soon at our sweet will
The beauty being mine
In my heart for ever she will shine
A pleasant evening golden sun
Late night cool silvery moon
“ mundu uduthiya
Azhagu pengal koottam
nan padiya pattum
Aval aadiya attam
Mohiniattam, Indralogam,
eni enna vendum Swargam? “-
Wearing mundu
Group of beautiful ladies
My melody her dance
Divine Land !
Is it still required,
The heaven?

Freedom at Midnight.

Day of Independence
Not came free of cost
Sacrifices paid the prices
Many lives were lost.
Many young war widows
For whom Life was
Behind closed doors and windows.
Children lost their dear fathers
And brought up
Under the care of mothers.
Perennial River of tears
Even strong heart
Will not bear.

Freedom and responsibilities
Should go hand in hand.
What we are doing today
It is shame to recall in our mind.
Corruption to the core
Killings, rapes and loots more
It is mockery of democracy everywhere
Independence Day is not only for
Unfurling the flags with a speech
In any of the buildings and old Forts

What is required is
Vision & mission and plan & action,
With welfare of people in heart.
The motto should be
The last common man’s
Honor and hearty smile
And the nation together with unity,
Integrity and Sovereignty
 Should march happily ahead miles
On the green land
And zoom in the blue skies.

HAPPY  INDEPENDENCE DAY.

Love All

With devotion in heart
you can see the God in stone any
With love in heart
Flowing water tastes sweet honey

With the beauty of the flower
Carrying exciting fragrance,
As a human born in the world
Overwhelming unrevealed remembrance

Whether the smiling child’s heart
Carry no thoughts?
Beautiful face in front with no error
Still to see it, why to ask for a mirror!

The relationship is not understood for ages,
Even to explain I know no language.
Yes, if we understand all and everything,
Then to explore life, there remains nothing!

But, with Love in heart,
Flowing water tastes sweet honey,
And with devotion in heart,
We can see the God in stone any.

To my fair lady.

Seen your eyes, observed the sky
And tried to study you, It is not yet over……
Yes, it is not yet over

I was roaming and remained sweet
Then why did you meet,
And opened the door of my heart?
Whether I open my eyes or forget
I see your portrait…….,
Yes, your Live portrait,
That my heart will write.

With love whether I laugh and talk
In separation and longing I lock
It is sweet season……
Yes, very sweet season.
Stack after stack
Wave after wave
You are sending your Love.

Some enjoyment
Some experiment
With love when I embrace
The breeze will caress.
With your glass bangles
And anklets jingling
shall I come to recite the song ?

Shall I give ?
Yes, shall I give and then take?
Like the mild drizzle and early summer,
Shall I plant the kiss ?
And perform the rhythmic dance ?

With the movement of your eye
My life will sway.
Sending the music anew.
This happy moment and ecstatic feeling
Will last our life long.

Again,
Seen your eyes, observed the sky
And tried to study you, It is not yet over……. ,
Yes, it is not yet over !

O, Mistress mine!

O, Mistress mine, where are you roaming,
O, stay and hear; your true love's coming,
That can sing both high and low:
Trip no further, pretty sweeting;
Journeys end in lovers meeting,
Every wise man's son doth know.

What is love? 'Tis not hereafter;
Present mirth hath present laughter;
What's to come is still unsure:
In delay there lies not plenty;
Then, come kiss me, sweet and twenty,
Youth's a stuff will not endure.

TAKE, O take those lips away
That so sweetly were forsworn,
And those eyes, the break of day,
Lights that do mislead the morn:
But my kisses bring again,
Bring again—
Seals of love, but seal’d in vain,
Seal’d in vain!
                                - William Shakespeare

Bright Star

" Bright star, would I were stedfast as thou art--
Not in lone splendour hung aloft the night
And watching, with eternal lids apart,
Like nature's patient, sleepless Eremite,
The moving waters at their priestlike task
Of pure ablution round earth's human shores,
Or gazing on the new soft-fallen mask
Of snow upon the mountains and the moors--
No--yet still stedfast, still unchangeable,
Pillow'd upon my fair love's ripening breast,
To feel for ever its soft fall and swell,
Awake for ever in a sweet unrest,
Still, still to hear her tender-taken breath,
And so live ever--or else swoon to death."
                                                 - John Keats
